Can I hook a 6 channel amp up to a factory CD player, 8 speaker stereo system?

I have an 01 Pontiac Bonneville with factory Bose sound system. Front components are 6 1/2 with 1 in dome tweets, rear doors have 5 1/4's, and rear deck has 2 6x9's.

I have an Audio Art 6 channel amp. Originally I wanted to get a CD player with navi to throw in the dash, go MB Quart on all mids and highs, and figured I would use a 6 channel amp to run the three sets of components I listed above.

Spending cash has since been cut back. Could I use the factory CD player to run the amp and new speakers? How would that work? I am guessing I would just need to get RCA convertors on each speaker and run them to the amp?

Im sure the SQ wont be as good doing that either.

you got the first part right about the RCA line out converters, then just wire one channel to each speaker, on the front speakers, get two crossovers and split the highs and the lows, highs for the tweeter and lows for the speaker. be sure to place the crossover between the amp and the speakers, (not between the stereo and amp, sounds like a dumb comment but some people do it) then just run your power wire and a remote turn on (use the power antenna or the radios remote turn on)
